Follow the guide below to determine your wig cap size. When pre-ordering your custom made units please choose correct size.

What if I'm new to wigs?
If you are new to wigs we recommend a 4*4 (standard closure size) wig or our Beginner Friendly Pieces (coming soon). Our Beginner Frienlly Pieces are middle part lace only or full cap no lace wigs. Our Beginner Friendly Pieces containing lace are only meant for a middle part but are a great way to start your new wig journey. We don't recommend getting a full frontal wig for your first unit. The maintenance for frontal units can be overwhelming for a wig newbie.
What does customized mean?
Pieces that are customized come with bleached knots, lightly preplucked hairline, wig comb, Elastic band, and style. If lace is needing to be cut please leave note in Cart Page before checking out.
Custom color does not come with your wig purchase unless it is advertised in the description.
We will not touch any units that have be customized or altered in anyway after you receive your unit.
If your unit is not customized pls, let a stylist that specializes in wigs install it.
*Units will need to be refreshed from packing after being shipped.
A Few Tips for a great wig experience
* Please let a professional stylist that specializes in wigs install your wig!
*Additional styling and customizing may be needed to get the styling you're looking for to fit you.
* Make sure your hair is clean and flat. Either pin down or braid into cornrows for the best fit.
* Always wear a wig cap! This helps the wig stay on your head and protects your hair from the wig’s inner lining and friction.
* Always secure your wig to your hair using combs that are inside of the wig cap to ensure a snug fit that won’t slip. If not comfortable with combs, a wig grip can also hold unit in place when worn correctly.
* Factory made wigs are adjustable in size and will state size range in description.
A Few things to know about our custom colored pieces.
1.) We take all inside wig pictures with ring lighting. Tones may differ in different lighting.
2.) It's impossible for us create THE EXACT SAME color/highlights on custom colored units.
Caring For Your Wig
It is recommended to wash your wig after about every 1-2 weeks depending on how much product is on it. Wash more often if sweaty or active.
Pretty Pieces by Ki straight hair wigs are measured in its natural state, however wavy or curly hair textures are measured when stretched. You may want to add 2-4 inches when ordering a curly or wavy texture. Keep in mind your size and frame when deciding on a length. An 18" weave will fall longer on a person 5' 1" as opposed to a person 5' 10".
What is "Virgin" hair?
The term "Virgin" hair refers to hair that is in its natural state, untouched from chemical processes like perms, relaxers, and dyes but can come steam processed to create different textures. 100% Virgin hair is not mixed with synthetic hair fibers or human hair blends.
How long does Virgin Hair last?
This hair can last for a very long time depending on how you maintain it. Treat it like your own hair and take good care of it for it to last longer. Depending on maintenance, hair will last from 12 months to 2+ years! Most of our Pretty Pieces by Ki wigs are able to last ATLEAST 1+ year wig proper care.
How much hair is in each bundle?
We measure our hair wefts in ounces, each bundle weighs between 3.5 and 4 ounces.
Can I straighten my Virgin Hair?
Yes! Virgin Hair is very versatile and can be styled as desired. This includes blow-drying, curling and straightening. With the proper care, the hair's natural curl pattern will be restored after washing.
What is "Raw" hair?
Raw hair is exactly as the name applies; Raw, unprocessed, 100% human hair. When you think about unprocessed this means it has not undergone ANY chemical, heat or steam processing. Raw hair is the most purest and natural form of hair available on the market. Raw hair can last 5+ years with proper care
How do I restore waves or curls after flat-ironing my hair?
Simply co-wash the hair or spray with water and a leave-in conditioner, and let air dry. Your Pretty Pieces by Ki 100% Virgin Hair Extensions will "snap-back" to its original curl pattern without heat or processing. Just glide your fingers through your hair to shape & style it as desired.

How do I maintain my hair at home?
Simply finger-combing your locks are enough to keep them tangle free. A big-tooth comb is best and brushing is not recommended. You can wear a satin bonnet or scarf to bed if unit installed. Make sure your hair is completely dry before bed. NEVER sleep on wet hair! Sleeping on wet hair is known to matte hair which makes it very difficult to manage. We recommend glue-less wear for ability to remove unit and store daily to preserve quality and style.

What is "co-washing"?
"Co-Washing", short for conditioner washing, is when you wash your hair using only conditioner. The conditioner is used to re-hydrate the hair and provide moisture and shine. This gentler way of cleaning minimizes color damage, since most conditioners don't contain harsh hue-stripping sulfates and adds the right amount of hydration to hair strands, cutting down on frizz. Most experts believe that the conditioner is the most important part of the washing process, especially for virgin hair extensions.
What is "knot-bleaching"? Do I need this?
Knot bleaching enables lace closures and frontals to appear more like the natural scalp to the naked eye. Lace closures are constructed by ventilating strands of hair through a thin mesh/net material by hand. The strands are secured in place by single or double knotting. Therefore, at the base of each strand, there is a knot. Once a closure is completely constructed the base appears to have a pattern of “roots” (knots) at the base of the mesh/net material. To remove this appearance, bleach is carefully applied to the underside of the closure. Upon successful completion, the knots are no longer visible to the naked eye as they have been lightened to blend in with the color of the closure’s mesh foundation. The visible result is strands of hair “growing” from a “natural” scalp.

PLEASE NOTE: Knot bleaching only applies to lace closures/frontals. Silk-based closures have a more opaque foundation, thus eliminating the appearance of knots.
Can I bleach my own knots?
Pretty Pieces by Ki strongly recommends that all professional services be done by a professional stylist. Athough the process may seem simple, a professional stylist is trained to work with strong chemicals while minimizing the damage done to hair during the process. When not done properly, knot-bleaching can result in excessive shedding, tearing, and bald spots on your closure piece.

Due to federal health regulations, Pretty Pieces by Ki does not issue refunds or exchanges. All sales are FINAL.
